Female members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) stationed at the Orientation Camp in Okada, Edo State recently participated in a workshop focused on the importance of proper vaginal care and menstrual hygiene. This initiative was led by the Executive Director of Women for Greater Good Foundation, Fatima Hassan, who emphasized the significance of maintaining cleanliness in the vaginal area as a crucial aspect of women’s reproductive health.
During the workshop, corps member Monica Patrick took the lead in organizing the event and generously donated 300 sanitary pads to her fellow female participants. Monica, a graduate of the University of Calabar currently serving in Edo State, expressed her commitment to promoting menstrual hygiene and women’s health through such initiatives.
